The food industry is moving to meet consumers' increasing demand for healthier options.

According to the food industry, sales of health-conscious products have increased greatly during the COVID-19 outbreak.
An online grocery delivery service saw its sales of low salt or salt-free products nearly double in the first nine months of this year ...compared to the previous year.
The most popular items were butter, nuts and chicken breast products with reduced or no salt.
To meet the demand, manufacturers have released low salt canned ham and fish cake.
"We eat more home-cooked meals because of COVID-19, so I'm trying to reduce my family's sodium intake."
Juice, snacks and even bread with reduced sugar are also popular.
A convenience store chain's sales of low sugar or sugar-free reconstituted milk products and soft drinks rose by around 50 percent on-year ...in the first six months of this year.
New food products support good health while still tasting great, and the demand for such products is only expected to rise.
