South Korea's trade minister Yoo Myung-hee continues to put all her efforts into becoming the new director-general of the World Trade Organization.
Seoul's trade ministry said on Saturday that Yoo made endorsement requests in Europe, including Switzerland, the U.K., and Belgium over the last ten days.
The ministry added that most of the countries she has contacted recently have given their backing and that Yoo has a wide range of support across the world, including Europe, Latin American, and Africa.
Yoo is now in the final round of voting along with her competitor Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala from Nigeria.
The WTO is to have the first female chief in its 25-year history.
The new director-general will be decided by a consensus of WTO members no later than November 7th.
