Civilian tours to the southern side of Joint Security Area in the DMZ will reopen to the public for the first time in a year after an outbreak of African swine fever.
South Korea's Unification Ministry says the inter-Korean truce village of Panmunjeom will welcome visitors starting November 6th.
Now, not only groups but also individuals and families of up to five members can make reservations online at panmuntour-dot-G-O-dot-K-R starting Tuesday.
No case of African swine fever has been reported in the area since June.
COVID-19 quarantine measures, such as wearing masks and practicing social distancing, will be in place.
