A French free diver has broken the world record for the deepest free dive in the bi-fins category.
Frenchman Arnaud Jerald descended to a depth of 1-hundred-12 meters during Tuesday's European Cup competition, in which some twenty athletes took part.
The dive lasted for three minutes and 24 seconds in total.
The 24-year-old was thrilled to beat his rival's record of 111 meters, which was set just on the weekend.
This was the second time he broke the world record his previous record was set last year with 108 meters.
