This afternoon, the South Korean government will be announcing whether it's going to extend the heightened level of social distancing in the capital... or lower it now that case numbers are coming down.
Officials have said before that easing the measures would be more likely if daily case numbers got back below a hundred.
Kim Yeon-seung has the latest.
South Korea on Sunday confirmed another one-hundred-21 cases of COVID-19.
Of those, 99 are local infections, and most of them are in the capital region.
The good news is that the downward trend continues... with 15 fewer cases than on Saturday.
There have also been fewer than two hundred for the past 11 days.
But the number is still in the triple digits, and the authorities are concerned that more than 20 percent of the cases are untraceable, which they say means you can get infected anywhere and at any time.
The government will announce today whether it's going to ease social distancing measures in the capital region or keep them at the elevated level 2-point-5.
On Saturday, however, the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters mentioned a third alternative that wouldn't be as strict.
Essentially, that would allow restaurants to serve customers after 9 PM... and cafes to let customers eat and drink inside the store but only if they wear masks, keep their distance from each other and sign a visitor log.
An announcement is expected at today's briefing scheduled at 4:30 PM, Korea time.
