Prime Minister Chung Se-kyun is concerned that ending South Korea's two-week long nationwide social distancing drive as originally scheduled on Sunday... could cause the coronavirus to start spreading rapidly again.
Meeting officials this morning,... Chung said, considering schools have been postponed again... the government is still deciding how long the country should enforce the social distancing measures.
The government launched the drive on March 22nd... urging people to cancel all meetings and avoid mass gatherings.
It was to end on April 5th,... but Chung said it could be extended as cases spike globally... and as South Korea is still seeing cluster outbreaks.
