A senior U.S. health official says it could be the end of next year before life gets back to how it was before COVID-19.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said Friday that there would be a vaccine by the end of the year or early next year.
He added that a vaccine would help, but it won't be until the end of 2021 that the majority of the population gets vaccinated and protected.
