Teenager jailed for murder of 23 in 2017 tahfiz arson

A teenager was found guilty by the Kuala Lumpur High Court today for murdering 23 people in a fire at Pusat Tahfiz Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah almost three years ago.
Judge Azman Abdullah meted out the sentence after finding that the defence had failed to raise reasonable doubts against the 23 murder charges against the accused, who is now 19 years old.
