Severe thunderstorms cause major flooding across Scotland

A severe thunderstorm hit Edinburgh, Scotland with gusty wind and heavy rain on Tuesday, August 11 night.

The MET office issued a thunderstorm warning for the area and warned that there is a possibility that homes and buildings could have flood damage.

Footage filmed by @BrightWolfFilms, @liamrotheram and @ocriochain respectively shows numerous streets submerged in Edinburgh.
