North Korea has reportedly issued flood alerts along three western rivers,... as the country is battered by heavy downpours.
Its state-run news agency reported Tuesday that flood alerts issued near the Taedong River, Chongchon River and the Ryesong River will last through this Thursday and Friday.
All of the three rivers empty into the West Sea,... with the Taedong running through Pyeongyang.
Heavy rain in 2007 along the Taedong River has caused extensive damage and fatalities.
