S. Korea to begin producing plasma treatment for COVID-19 clinical trials

South Korea plans to start clinical trials of a plasma treatment for COVID-19.
KCDC deputy director Kwon Jun-wook said Saturday that authorities procured plasma samples from 171 recovered patients which is enough to begin human testing.
Speaking at a regular briefing,... Kwon said the treatment would be produced the following week and clinical trials will follow shortly.
The official also confirmed there were 35 new cases of COVID-19 in the country as of midnight,... bringing the total to 13-thousand-three-hundred-and-seventy-three.
Twenty were local community infections. The remaining 15 were imported.
The death toll stands at two-hundred-and-eighty-eight, with no additional cases reported.
