आठ राज्यों की 19 राज्यसभा सीटों पर हुए चुनावों में बीजेपी को बढ़त मिली है, तमाम कोशिशों के बावजूद कहीं कांग्रेस को महज 4 सीटों पर ही सब्र करना पड़ा. बीजेपी को गुजरात में 3, मध्य प्रदेश में 2 और राजस्थान, झारखंड और मणिपुर में एक-एक सीट पर जाती हासिल हुई.
