Haryana assembly elections: know the political equation of Rohtak seat
The Congress is dominating the Rohtak seat. There has always been a contest between the Congress and the Lok Dal on this seat. Since 1977, BJP has won this seat only once. The current MLA from Rohtak is from BJP. For the first time in 2014, in the Modi wave, BJP was able to succeed here and BJP's Manish Kumar Grover defeated Bharat Bhushan Batra of Congress.

रोहतक सीट पर कांग्रेस का खासा दबदबा रहा है. इस सीट पर कांग्रेस और लोक दल बीच हमेशा टक्कर रही है. 1977 से लेकर अबतक इस सीट पर बीजेपी सिर्फ एक बार जीत पाई है. रोहतक से मौजूदा विधायक बीजेपी से हैं. पहली बार साल 2014 में मोदी लहर में बीजेपी को यहां कामयाबी मिल पाई थी और बीजेपी के मनीष कुमार ग्रोवर ने कांग्रेस के भारत भूषण बत्रा हराया.
