Esper confident in readiness of U.S. troops in S. Korea

The U.S. Secretary of Defense, Mark Esper, said Monday that he is confident that American troops in South Korea are still solid in their combat readiness... and remain able to deter threats from North Korea.
Speaking with the Brookings Institution, he credited the commander of U.S. Forces Korea, General Robert Abrams, with maintaining that readiness amid the coronavirus outbreak.
It's unclear how many cases of COVID-19 there have been among American troops in Korea, but reports suggest there have been at least two dozen.
