Moody's projects global manufacturing EBITA to fall by 13%

The global credit rating agency Moody's has a grim outlook on the global manufacturing industry as coronavirus saps market sentiment.
On Tuesday, it projected that this year the global manufacturing sector's earnings before interest, taxes, and amortization, or EBITA, will drop by 13 percent.
Moody's said that reflects the highly uncertain operating enviornment for many companies in the sector.
It also said that sales and profits are likely to plunge in the second quarter... but will partially recover next year.
