Nirbhaya Case: Supreme Court ने Death Penalty के लिए तय की Guildeline | वनइंडिया हिंदी

The Supreme Court has come out with guidelines for expeditious hearing of criminal appeals involving death penalty, a decision which comes against the backdrop of delay in execution of the four death row convicts in the Nirbhaya case.The apex court has fixed a deadline of six months, from the date of the verdict of the high court, for hearing an appeal against the cases of death sentence.

निर्भया गैंगरेप केस में फांसी में हो रही देरी को देखते हुए सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने मौत की सजा के मामलों के लिए गाइडलाइन तय की है. सुप्रीम कोर्ट की ओर से जारी की गई गाइडलाइन इस प्रकार से है. अगर कोई हाईकोर्ट किसी को मौत की सजा देने की पुष्टि करता है और सुप्रीम कोर्ट इसकी अपील पर सुनवाई की सहमति जताता है तो 6 महीने के भीतर मामले को तीन जजों की पीठ में सुनवाई के लिए सूचीबद्ध किया जाएगा. देखें वीडियो
