In later versions of his Stage Persona, William Branham preached strongly against remarriage after divorce. His views concerning Women, marriage, and Polygamy are fully detailed in a 1965 sermon entitled "Marriage and Divorce".

During the time Jeffersonville, IN had a reputation of "quick marriages", however, Branham officiated the wedding ceremonies of those who were previously married and divorced. He helped some of his brothers remarry several times.
