South Korean lawmakers have submitted a resolution urging the two Koreas, the U.S. and China to swiftly declare an official end to the Korean War.
The resolution, jointly submitted by 71 lawmakers from different parties, calls upon the four countries to declare the war over and replace the 66-year old armistice with a peace treaty.
The lawmakers also asked for North Korea and the U.S. to achieve tangible results in their upcoming denuclearization talks and for the two Koreas to do their best to start talks on signing a peace treaty.
