S. Korean lawmakers in Washington for talks on defense cost-sharing issue

The floor leaders of South Korea's three largest political parties are in Washington to deliver their message on the defense cost-sharing issue.
Upon his arrival, ruling Democratic party floor leader Lee In-young said he will deliver the National Assembly's stance to Congress,... which is that the cost should be shared fairly based on mutual respect and trust.
Main opposition Liberty Korea Party floor leader Na Kyung-won stressed the importance of the alliance and pledged to explain the importance of maintaining a U.S. troop presence in South Korea.
Bareunmirae Party floor leader Oh Shin-hwan vowed to deliver South Korea's stance on cost-sharing, added they will also discuss Seoul's soon-to-be terminated intel-sharing pact with Japan.
