BJP has a good hold on this seat. But in the last few years, this seat is becoming a stronghold of Shiv Sena. This seat has been occupied by BJP from 1990 to 2004. In 2009, this seat was with Congress and then in 2014, Shiv Sena peeled this seat from Congress with just a few votes.

इस सीट पर बीजेपी की अच्छी पकड़ रही है। मगर पिछले कुछ सालों में ये सीट शिवसेना का गढ़ बनता जा रही है. 1990 से 2004 तक इस सीट पर बीजेपी का कब्जा रहा है. 2009 में ये सीट कांग्रेस के पास थी और फिर 2014 में इस सीट पर शिवसेना ने महज चंद वोटों से कांग्रेस से ये सीट छील ली.
