Maharashtra assembly elections: know the political equation of Thane seat
Thane assembly seat has been dominated by the BJP for the last two decades. Meanwhile, in the year 2009, Shiv Sena won this seat on behalf of BJP-Shiv Sena alliance. After the year 1980, Congress has been able to win this victory only once in 1990.

ठाणे विधानसभा सीट पर पिछले दो दशक से बीजेपी का दबदबा रहा है. इस बीच साल 2009 में इस सीट पर शिवसेना ने बीजेपी-शिवसेना गठबंधन की ओर से जीत दर्ज की थी. साल 1980 के बाद कांग्रेस इस सिर्फ पर बस एक बार ही 1990 में जीत का परचम लहरा पाई है.
