The minister,... who is joining President Moon on his trip to New York,... said the Trump administration is open to talks on security assurances and sanctions relief for the regime.
She added the U.S. has a "basic position" to talk with Pyeongyang with an "open attitude."
Kang also stressed it's crucial that concrete steps toward denuclearization actually start this time as the process has been stalled since in February,... when the second North Korea-U.S. summit ended in Hanoi with no deal.
