Arabian Rice recipe in Urdu with English subtitles
Ingredients:
For Marination of Chicken:
500 gram Boneless Chicken 2 tbsp Chili Sauce 4 tbsp Flour 2 tbsp Corn Flour 1 Egg ½ tsp Salt ½ tsp Black Pepper ¼ tsp Baking Powder Oil for Frying
For Rice: ½ KG Rice (soaked in water for about ½ hour) 4~5 tbsp Cooking Oil 10~15 Cloves 15~20 Black Peppers ¼ tsp Yellow Food Color (mix in water) 3 tbsp Raisins 1 tbsp Powdered allspices 1 tsp Salt 2 Green Chilies chopped
For Sauce 4 tbsp Ketchup 4 tbsp Chili Garlic Sauce 3 tbsp Chili Sauce
Method: - In first step, marinate the chicken for 25~30 minutes by mixing all the ingredients of chicken marination (mentioned above - except oil for frying) - In 2nd step cook the rice. Turn on the flame, add oil to the pan and roast cloves & black pepper for 1~2 minutes. - Now add rice, dry spices, raisins and fry for 1 minute. - Add water to the rice - water level must be 1 inch above the rice. - Cover it at medium flame until the water evaporates. - Now add green chilies and yellow food color (mixed in water). - Cover and simmer for 10 minutes at low flame. - After 10 minutes, mix the rice and rest it aside. - Heat the oil in frying pan & fry the chicken (that we marinated in 1st step) until golden brown. - Now prepare the sauce by mixing all three ingredients of Sauce. - In a serving bowl, first add rice, now add fried chicken and pour the sauce over it. - Delicious Arabic Rice are ready.
