Presidential office proposes meeting between Moon and rival political party leaders

The president hopes to meet with the five rival political parties and the leader of the main opposition Liberty Korea Party,... to speed up political affairs and resolve some pending issues.
A senior presidential secretary for political affairs said the top office proposed such meetings take place on Friday, the 7th before President Moon leaves for a week-long trip to Northern Europe this weekend.
The main opposition party, however asked to hold a meeting with three negotiating parties, to which the top office rejected that proposal and called for all five parties to attend.
If the meeting goes ahead Friday,... the leaders will discuss issues including the passage of supplementary budget bill, sending food aid to the North and local trade circumstances amid the U.S.-China trade spat.
