Chairing a Cabinet meeting at the top office today,...President Moon Jae-in says that although nothing was signed at the border meeting between leaders Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump,... the action is clearly a declaration of an end to hostile relations between the two.
The president added that, the meeting that signifies a start of a full-fledged new era of peace....was only made possible due to an unthinkable "diplomatic grammar."

"The impressive Panmunjeom meeting between leaders of North Korea and the U.S. became a reality through President Trump's unconventional offer via SNS and Chairman Kim's bold response. That shocking proposal and bold move is the fruit of a transcending imagination."

The president added during his trip to the border with the U.S. leader,... Moon said he was able to explain to Trump about the economic and security benefits the two Koreas can earn,... while overlooking the joint Gaeseong Industrial Complex.
He noted that it was also the first time for the leaders of South Korea and the U.S. to have visited the heavily fortified border together.
