Trump still seeking talks with N. Korea

U.S. President Donald Trump will continue to try to communicate with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un as Washington looks to defuse simmering tensions following February's failed North Korea-U.S. summit in Hanoi.
Speaking at the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore over the weekend,... U.S. Special Representative for North Korea Stephen Biegun said,.... the U.S. believes the two sides can close the gaps and make further progress on denuclearization.... through continued negotiations.
The U.S. State Department says North Korea should remain engaged, and refrain from provocations... such as missile tests.
