VANCOUVER, CANADA — Huawei's Chief Financial Officer is currently under house arrest in her six bedroom mansion worth millions of dollars, according to Reuters.

Meng Wanzhou has been detained in Canada since December 2018 for her role in allegedly misleading banks to evade US sanctions against Iran, CNN reports.

Since then Meng has requested a judge on the Canadian Supreme Court to move into another one of her properties, on Matthews Street residence.

The mansion is around 8,170 square feet and contains seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, according to Reuters.

This new mansion would be fully fenced and allows "controlled access" for pedestrians and vehicles entering the house.

According to Reuters, Meng is allowed to move around Vancouver relatively freely. But, as reported by CNN, she is required to wear a GPS ankle bracelet.
