How the arrest of Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou soured China's relations with the US and Canada

Meng Wanzhou, the Chief Financial Officer of Chinese telecoms giant Huawei, and daughter of the company's founder, was arrested by Canadian police in December 2018 at the request of US authorities. Washington has accused Meng and her company of violating US sanctions against Iran.
