Is Planning Appeal of
Kentucky Derby Result Gary West said he plans to file an appeal
with the state racing commission. West's horse, Maximum Security,
won the Kentucky Derby on Saturday but was disqualified after an interference objection. Maximum Security will not run in the
second leg of the Triple Crown,
the Preakness Stakes, on May 18. West appeared on NBC's 'Today' show on Monday, where he hinted that a lawsuit is also a possibility. Gary West, via 'Today' show After a 22-minute video review, officials
