Hulu Now at Nearly 30 Million Subscribers in the US In the last year, the streamer
has seen a growth of 40%. Over that time period, U.S. subscriptions
have increased to 28 million. That is an increase of nearly
four million from when 2018 wrapped up. Hulu CEO Randy Freer,
via statement Due to only being U.S.-based,
Hulu's numbers are still small
in comparison to Netflix. Currently, Netflix has over double the amount
of American subscribers with 60 million. But over the last half decade, Hulu
has soundly beaten its rival in
terms of adding new members. While Netflix's American base has increased 75%,
Hulu's is almost double that of 133%.
