Starting Wednesday, Korean citizens will be able to report illegal parking through a mobile app.
They just need to upload two photos of the illegally parked car via the safety ministry's app, after which the driver will be fined up to roughly seventy U.S. dollars.
Violations include leaving cars parked within five meters of a fire hydrant or crossroad, within 10 meters of a bus station or near a crosswalk.
