S. Korean troops now allowed to leave base twice a month for up to 4 hours

Starting today, South Korean soldiers will be allowed to leave base after finishing their daily duties.
The defense ministry says leaves will be granted twice a month, for up to four hours a day.
Soldiers can go on leave at 5:30PM... but must return by 9:30PM for roll call.
While off base they can do anything they like... as long as it doesn't violate the military's code of conduct.
However, the ministry says no more than 35 percent of troops at a single base should away at once.
It added that the new regulations are being introduced as it ran smoothly during a trial run last August.
