Gov't devising measures for planned inter-Korean joint excavation in DMZ
  • 5 years ago
South Korea is drawing up detailed measures for the inter-Korean excavation of war remains in the Demilitarized Zone scheduled for next month.
Seoul's Defense Ministry said Monday it had notified North Korea earlier this month that its excavation team is ready for the planned project at the DMZ... but the North is yet to respond.
The joint project is part of the inter-Korean Comprehensive Military Agreement reached last September... aimed at suspending hostile acts on the Korean peninsula.
