A brand new season for Korea's professional baseball league is just around the corner.
To build up the excitement before the opening games, the KBO held a Media Day and Fan Fest.

With only 2 days left before the start of Korea's professional baseball season this Saturday, the KBO is holding a Media Day and Fan Fest for baseball fans to meet their heroes and hear what they have to say about the upcoming season.
This year's KBO Media Day was held at COEX in southern Seoul where hundreds of fans of all 10 baseball teams gathered ahead of the new baseball season. Excited fans had the chance to meet their favorite players, get autographs and take photos together.
"I'm a fan of Doosan Bears, I wish for the players to avoid injury and end the season with a smile."
"As a fan of Kia, they had a poor season last year, but I hope they can get better results with no injuries, and give the fans more happiness this season."
"I'm a fan of Lotte, and this year the team's strategy seems to have gotten better, so I have the expectation that this year Lotte can win."
At the Media Day the KBO introduced its new slogan for the season: "B Together, Clean Baseball ". The slogan was made to highlight how the league aims to be fair and equal. The coaches and players from all 10 teams also had a chance to say what their goals are for this season.
"I hope my own baseball performances can be good, and even though I'm here instead of my teammate, I'm really glad to be at this event and get to meet all the fans before the season starts."
"Last year is in the past and a new season is here. By taking the winning energy from last year, we will do our best to get great results this season as well."
With fans and players of all teams having the same hopes of coming out on top when the season ends this fall, it's now all up to the players to play well, play fair and give the fans an enjoyable and exciting season of baseball.
