Delhi HC sets aside order to appoint 21 AAP MLAs as parliamentary secretaries

In a major blow to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Delhi High Court on Thursday set aside an order of the Kejriwal government to appoint 21 AAP MLAs as parliamentary secretaries.
The party had appointed the MLAs as parliamentary secretaries on March 13, 2015.
Defending its decision in the High Court, AAP has said the move doesn’t amount to creating a “public office”.
