INS Sindhurakshak tragedy: Worst Naval crisis since 1971, Says Navy chief

In what is possibly the biggest naval tragedy to hit the country. 2 submarines caught fire at Mumbai's Naval Dockyard. 18 sailors are feared dead in the tragedy.
The tragic incident which occurred in Mumbai saw INS Sindhurakshak a kilo class submarine that had undergone a major refit at Russia catching fire and being rocked by explosions.
Fire tenders from the dockyard in Mumbai tried to douse the flames but their efforts could not salvage the submarine from sinking in the sea.
