India News :Divers have retrieved the first two bodies of 18 crew members who are feared dead on a submarine that exploded and sank earlier this week in Mumbai, the Indian navy says. The navy had said the sailors were trapped after the conventionally powered submarine, INS Sindhurakshak, caught fire and sank in a military dockyard on Wednesday.

"Two bodies have been found and that is confirmed. A search is on for more," PVS Satish, a navy spokesman, told the AFP news agency on Friday. An official who spoke on condition of anonymity before divers had recovered any bodies said the navy believed there was no way anyone could have survived the intensity of Wednesday's blasts and fire.
