VVIP chopper deal: CBI books former IAF Chief, 12 others

Close on the heels of Italy providing the first set of documents in the controversial VVIP chopper deal, CBI has filed an FIR against former Air chief S P Tyagi. The FIR pins Tyagi for cheating and conspiracy. The FIR has also reportedly named 4 firms and 12 people including Tyagi and Satish Bagrodia, brother of former union minister Santosh Bagrodia. Meanwhile, CBI also held searches in 14 locations in Delhi, NCR and Chandigarh including the FMR IAF Chief's residence. Reports have come in that SP Tyagi's name doesn't figure as a beneficiary of the bribes.
