U.S. President Donald Trump left Hanoi almost immediately after the summit schedule was cut short,.. wasting little time to hustle back to Washington.
But North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is still in town for his official Vietnam visit.
We have our Kan Hyeong-woo standing by in front of the hotel where Kim has been staying since Tuesday.

Well Mark, as you mentioned,... the second North Korea-U.S. summit ended abruptly after the two sides failed to reach a deal.
President Trump left Hanoi on Thursday afternoon, local time, on Air Force One.
But Chairman Kim will begin his official friendship visit to Vietnam today as planned.

According to the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs,... Kim is expected to meet his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Phu Trong, the General Secretary of Vietnam's Ruling Communist Party on Friday.
There will be bilateral talks between the two leaders and a welcoming ceremony followed by a state banquet later in the day.

On Saturday,... Kim will pay a visit to the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum,.. where the founding president of Vietnam is buried.

Once his schedule is complete,... it's reported Kim will take his armored train from the same Dong Dang railway station where he arrived on Tuesday after a roughly 60-hour-long train ride across China.

But the released schedule leaves some spare time for Kim to make a surprise visit to other places.
For instance,... he could make a quick stop at the Vietnam-North Korea Friendship Kindergarten in Hanoi.
Or he could visit a business sector in the Southeast Asian country. ( )
