Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon announced the end of the foot-and-mouth disease outbreak in the nation.
In a Facebook post on Friday,.. he said the maximum 14-day incubation period of the highly contagious virus has passed since the latest outbreak was confirmed in January.
The PM added, all travel restrictions have been lifted.
He also remembered to thank those who took part in preventive sterilization program.
The first FMD outbreak was confirmed at a cow farm in Anseong late last month.
