PM Lee declares end to foot-and-mouth disease outbreak in S. Korea

South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon has announced the end of the foot-and-mouth disease outbreak in the nation.
In a Facebook post on Friday,.. Lee said the maximum 14-day incubation period of the highly contagious disease has passed since the latest outbreak was confirmed in January.
He also said all travel restrictions have been lifted and thanked those who took part in preventive sterilization program.
The first FMD outbreak was confirmed at a cow farm in Anseong late last month.
