West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee began her ‘Save the Constitution’ dharna around 8:45 pm Sunday at Esplanade in the heart of the Kolkata to protest the move of the CBI to question Kolkata Police commissioner Rajeev Kumar as she accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah of plotting a ‘coup’. The site of her dharna is close to where she carried out a hunger strike protesting the Tata Nano plant in Singur in 2006.
