New Delhi, June 28, 2025 (ANI): BJP MP and Fact Finding Committee member Manan Kumar Mishra on June 28 criticised West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over the alleged gangrape case in Kolkata and said that these continuous incidents happening in West Bengal are a matter of concern. He also slammed by saying that the entire government, police machinery, and the system have failed. “Investigating any incident in West Bengal, and then returning safely from there, can only happen with God's grace... It is my responsibility to go there and conduct an impartial investigation,” said Manan Kumar Mishra. “These continuous incidents happening in West Bengal are a matter of concern. It seems that the entire government, police machinery, and the system have failed. There is no semblance of law and order left in West Bengal. No one is safe there... If the report reveals a failure by the state government, then the central government should take action...,” he added.
