Two Yemeni journalists granted refugee status by Jeju Korea Immigration Service

The Jeju Korea Immigration Service has granted refugee status to two Yemeni nationals who had applied to stay as refugees on Korea's southern Jeju Island.
The pair in question are journalists that had written articles critical of the Houthi rebels in Yemen.
Judging that there was a high possibility they could be kidnapped, murdered, or threatened by the rebels,.... the immigration service gave them the greenlight to stay as refugees.
For 50 other Yemenis, the service gave them humanitarian stay permits.... while rejecting 22 Yemenis' applications.
