U.S.-based North Korea monitoring website 38 North says.... it's still unclear how much of North Korea's Punggye-ri nuclear test site has been destroyed... prompting speculation that the test site is not fully abandoned.
Thirty-eight North analyzed satellite images from late October and November.... and said,.... two largest buildings at the Command Center remain intact,... as do various nearby support facilities.
Some 20 personnel were also spotted at one of the facilities, with well-maintained roads in the area.
The website added.... should inspectors visit the place, they should visit all key test areas and use drill rigs to check how far back the tunnels have been collapsed.
North Korea had blown up parts of the test site in May this year,.... and invited inspectors to visit and confirm its irreversible destruction during U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's visit in October.
