Chinese telecom company Huawei's chief financial officer... Meng Wanzhou.... has been granted bail as she fights possible extradition from Canada to the U.S.
A British Columbia Supreme Court judge ordered in Vancouver on Tuesday.... that Meng could be released on bail under a number of conditions,… including.... 24-hour surveillance and the use of an electronic ankle bracelet.
Bail was set at 10 million U.S. dollars.
Meng is accused in the U.S. of publicly misrepresenting Huawei's subsidiary company Skycom..... to evade sanctions on Iran between 2009 and 2014.
