Ingredients: For Dhokla Chana Dal, soaked & ground Green chillies Ginger Garlic Salt to taste 1/2 tsp Turmeric Oil for greasing
For Sev Khamani 3-4 tbsp Oil 1/1 tsp Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp Asafoetida Dhokla Juice of 1/2 lime 1 tbsp Sugar Coriander 1 tbsp Coconut, grated Sev, Coconut, Pomegranate for garnishing
Method of preparation: For Dhokla Preheat the steamer. Soak the chana dal for 5-6 hours in water and grind it into pase with ginger, garlic and green chillies. Add salt, turmeric to the paste and mix well. Take a container and grease it with oil. Transfer the batter to the container and place it inside a steamer. Seam the dhokla for 10-12 minutes. Our Dhokla is ready, keep it aside to cool.
For Sev Khamani Heat oil in a vessel, add mustard seeds, asafoetida, scrambles dhokla and mix well. Close the lid and cook it for one minute. Switch off the flame, add lime juice, sugar and mix well. Add coriander, coconut and mix well. Serve in a plate and garnish it with sev, coriander, pomegranate seeds and coconut. Our Sev Khamani is ready to eat.
