Now we turn to Michelle Park at the weather center for the latest updates. Michelle, temperatures are expected to drop drastically overnight,... leading us to what could be the coldest day of the season to date, right?
Daniel, yes, today the mercury hit the lowest so far this season,... but it looks like that's going to change just within a day. Northern areas of the country will wake up to freezing readings, especially the regions in dark blue on the map.
But the cold conditions will be very short-lived. In fact, temperatures will bounce back in the afternoon. Meanwhile, Beijing and Tokyo will continue under balmy autumn conditions tomorrow.
Tuesday morning in Seoul drops to 1 degree Celsius, and Chuncheon hits minus 1,... while Jeju remains relatively warm at 13 degrees.
Seoul is expected to warm up to 10 degrees by the day. Daegu and Gyeongju will be a bit higher at 14 degrees.
Colder than seasonal average mornings are expected to continue until Friday,.. and from then, the temperature readings should return to seasonal averages.
