Ingredients: 1 ½ cup Coconut, grated 5-6 cloves garlic 1 tsp Cumin seeds 1 tsp Ghee 2 tbsp Coriander seeds 1 inch Cinnamon 15 Black Pepper Corns 5 Cloves 1 tsp Poppy seeds 10 Fenugreek seeds 20 Dry Red Chillies 3 tbsp Ghee 5 Cloves of garlic, crushed 2 Onions, finely chopped 1 kg Chicken Salt to taste Water as required
For Garnishing 1 tbsp Ghee 1 Onion, sliced
Method of preparation: For Paste In a vessel add coconut, garlic, cumin and roast them till the coconut turns brown. Transfer the mixer in to mixer jar. In the same vessel heat ghee, coriander seeds, cinnamon, black pepper, cloves, poppy seeds, fenugreek seeds, red chillies, roast them for a minute or so. Add this into the mixer with the coconut mixture. Grind them into a fine paste and add some water while grinding.
For Dry Chicken Heat ghee in a vessel, add garlic, fry it for a few seconds and add onions. Saute the onions till they are nice and golden. Add chicken, saute it on high flame for 3-4 minutes. Add the ground paste and saute it for 2-3 minutes. Add salt, water, mix well and let it cook till the chicken is ready. Serve it in a vessel and garnish it with fried onions and coriander.
For Garnishing In a vessel, heat ghee, add onion and saute it till its nice and golden brown.
