Over the next three days,... the chairs of the country's three main parties will be giving speeches on their agendas and viewpoints at the National Assembly.
First up is Lee Hae-chan, the chair of the ruling Democratic Party of Korea.
Lee stressed the importance of reviving the economy and finding new growth engines.
He highlighted the need for next year's record budget,... saying that expansionary measures are needed to support job growth and boost the quality of life.
He also brought up the need to ratify the joint summit declaration reached between the two Koreas in April,... in order to set the groundwork for the implementation of the agreement.
